Holladay Properties will be handing the operations, marketing and leasing for the former AJ Wright Building in South Bend, Ind. Holladay, as part of a joint venture, recently acquired the building which is being marketed as the Interstate 80 Commerce Center.

(South Bend, Ind.) – Holladay Properties and an unnamed joint venture partner have acquired the former AJ Wright building located at 1905 West Sample Street in South Bend, Ind. Holladay will be responsible for the local operation, leasing and sales of the building. The building is being marketed with the name “Interstate 80 Commerce Center.”

“We envision the building as being a true interstate commerce center, with a regional and national tenant mix who provide services to the Midwest and further,” said Manette Tepe, Senior VP and Partner of Holladay Properties. “The building is easily accessible from Interstate 80 and can be remodeled to suit a wide range of users.”

The 539,137 SF building was originally developed in 2005 as an AJ Wright Distribution Center. The facility has 24,547 SF of fully furnished office space, 88 docks, 3200 amps of power and offers 32’ and 46’ clear ceiling heights. The building including the warehouse is fully air-conditioned, can be subdivided for multiple tenants and the large site allows for an additional 300,000 SF building expansion.

Holladay is excited to lease the property and has already begun marketing it to potential users. Prospective tenants for the building include regional and national logistics and e-commerce tenants.
