Founded in 1952, Holladay Properties has grown and diversified from the construction of single-family tract housing to become a full-scale land development company, design/build firm and fully integrated real estate company. With more than 250 full-time associates and offices in six major metropolitan areas, Holladay Properties has completed a comprehensive array of projects throughout the country.
Building Solutions Since 1952
Holladay Properties is dedicated to developing and building real estate projects with long-term tenants, joint-venture partners and challenging its 200+ associates in a wide variety of property types. Headquartered in South Bend, Indiana, Holladay has offices in a half dozen major metropolitan areas and has worked throughout the country, completing well over $2 Billion of real estate since its founding. With over 70 partnerships, 13 joint ventures and many long-term financial relationships, Holladay is widely diversified by product types.
The core of Holladay Properties' development is long-term, master-planned communities. Most are being developed with institutional or family partners and range in size from 186 acres to over 1,500 acres. Product types range from big-box retail (Bass Pro Shops®) to distribution centers (Pepsi®), data centers (Allstate® Insurance), office and classroom buildings (Purdue University), medical (Pinnacle Health Care) and hospitality (Hilton® and CarlsonSM). Each mixed use project is home to several build-to-suit projects, often for specialty lab or data center buildings.
Holladay has completed big-box retail as well as lifestyle centers and strip centers. Most of its retail is "mixed use," often being completed in Holladay master-planned communities with joint-venture partners. Projects range from build-to-suits to significant joint venture retail centers and entertainment projects.
Holladay owns and manages the Hilton® and CarlsonSM brands as well as independent hotels. We run a conference center, two restaurants and other entertainment projects. This area of the company has generally been part of master-planned communities and services our nearby commercial, industrial and office centers.
Holladay Properties has completed over 25 commercial build-to-suits ranging from data centers to corporate headquarters and warehouses. Most of these office buildings have been in "downtown" locations. In addition, we have several joint ventures on bio tech laboratories and a 500,000 sq. ft. distribution center.
Holladay has an impressive management portfolio of several hundred medical office buildings, housing virtually every type of specialty including surgery centers, dialysis clinics and specialty hospitals. In addition, we have a portfolio of medical-related buildings which have been built from the ground up.
The Holladay Construction Group has a 50-year history in the construction field, although it became a stand-alone company doing third-party work just a few years ago. We compete for a wide variety of construction projects ranging from public buildings to retail and industrial facilities.
