Larry Mudd
Vice President of Development

Mr. Mudd joined Holladay Properties in 2004. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is assigned to the Portage, Indiana office and manages some of the development projects in Northwest Indiana and the Chicago market. Prior to joining Holladay Properties, Mr. Mudd worked for 15 years with three Chicago-based real estate development firms and has been involved in projects with an overall value in excess of $500 Million. Included in the list of projects are several downtown Chicago historic rehabilitations, including The Rookery Building, Old St. Patrick's church and the conversion of the Carbide and Carbon Building into a Hard Rock Hotel. His experience includes development projects in urban and suburban markets ranging from office, hotel, industrial/distribution to specialty use. Project owners also have varied from internally owned, institutional investors, corporate clients and local/state/federal government.

Mr. Mudd is responsible for all aspects of the newly created multi-use business park in Merrillville, Indiana. This 386 acre master planned business park is a joint venture development with the Purdue Research Foundation and is a first class environment for uses including medical, retail, warehouse/distribution and office/education facilities. This new business park will be modeled after the successful AmeriPlex developments in Portage, South Bend and Indianapolis. He is also responsible for the other joint venture projects with the Purdue Research Foundation. These include the development of the 80 acre Purdue Research Park at AmeriPlex — Indianapolis and an office building in the Purdue Research Park located in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Purdue Technology Center of Indianapolis, an incubator facility for high-tech start-ups, will be the first building developed in the Indianapolis park.

Mr. Mudd is active in many local and regional organizations, both social and professional. He is on the economic development committee of the Merrillville Chamber of Commerce (a group that has over 500 members) and a member of the Association of University Research Parks. He is a resident of Chesterton, Indiana. He is married and has two children. Many of his activities involve coaching sports and academic teams in which his two sons are participants.
