Mr. Ottman joined Holladay's Nashville Healthcare division in 1999. His initial responsibility was the creation of a dedicated healthcare real estate accounting department. Beginning with 1.5 million square feet of medical office space, the department has grown from a three member staff to a team of twenty medical office building accounting specialists. The current portfolio consists of 5.5 million square feet ranging from Seattle through Miami.
In addition to his healthcare responsibilities, Mr. Ottman is accountable for the financial reporting of the healthcare division as well as the Holladay's Tennessee owned properties. He has also served as a budgeting and systems consultant to other property management firms throughout the country. Since 2001, he has converted more than 10 million square feet of healthcare real estate for acquiring owners.
With a B.B.A from Lipscomb University, Mr. Ottman previously served as an assistant controller with a Nashville based forklift distributor and as the accounting manager of an aviation repair facility. He has resided in Tennessee since 1994 with his wife, Julie, and their two sons.
