Holladay Properties is pleased to congratulate Kelly Bellinger and Austin Haynes, who were both named a “Great Big Kid” on Friday, April 26.

Haynes, who spent four months mentoring a student from the Prince William Boys and Girls Club, raised $18,325 for the Club during his fundraising efforts. In all, the Prince William County/Manassas Branches of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington raised over $140,000 during its inaugural “Great Big Kid” event.

“Thanks to generous donations, I had the honor of being named the inaugural ‘Great Big Kid’,” said Haynes. “It was a great time.” Learn more about what this event meant to Haynes in our previous article, Recognizing Our People in the Community: Austin Haynes.

In addition to being named “Great Big Kid,” the Mayor of the Town of Dumfries, named April 26, 2019 “Austin Haynes Great Big Kid Day” and encouraged residents of the Town to serve their community.

In Indiana, Bellinger was raising money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County. Over the years, Holladay has supported Manette Tepe, Paul Phair, and John Phair in their efforts for the annual Greatest Kids Event. This year, since Holladay did not have an active employee participating in the program, we were proud to sponsor the event and excited to support Bellinger and Team Green in their efforts.

Bellinger earned 3954.46 votes during the voting period and, along with the other Great Big Kids candidates, helped raise over $380,000 for the Club. Bellinger was also named “Great Big Kid” and Holladay employees were pleased to attend Friday night’s celebration and support her win.

Congratulations to Kelly and Austin, and to the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County and Greater Washington, who benefit from these exciting events.
