Toyota-owned company picks Holladay development in Westfield for new headquarters
(Westfield, IN) – Holladay Properties, an Indiana-based commercial real estate firm, is pleased to introduce its newest land development project, NorthPoint in Westfield,
Ind. At 300 acres, the development is expected to bring more than 2.5 million square feet of office, advanced manufacturing, and logistics space as well as $200 million in capital investment to the growing community of Westfield.
Chris Wilkes, a Senior Vice President at Holladay, noted that NorthPoint will be Holladay’s third significant project in Westfield, following the development of the Grand Park Events Center and the 93-room Hampton Inn, Westfield’s first hotel developed since Grand Park opened.
“Westfield is a wonderful community and we are pleased to continue our investment in the City with the NorthPoint project,” Wilkes said. “With the scale of its 300 acres, NorthPoint will allow us an opportunity to contribute to the growth and transformation of the City in the many years ahead.”
Holladay Construction Group, LLC is ready to begin infrastructure work at NorthPoint. Construction will begin soon on the infrastructure as well as the first facility within the development.
NorthPoint’s first project was announced at a press conference Monday morning that included Westfield Mayor Andy Cook, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, and executives from Bastian Solutions, an international company that was recently acquired by Toyota Advanced Logistics Solutions. Bastian announced plans to construct a 90,720 square feet facility that will generate 87 new engineering and advanced manufacturing jobs by the end of 2020.
Bastian also announced that they expect to expand this “Phase I” facility up to 200,000 square feet in the near future, bringing even more highly skilled technical and labor jobs to the community. Bastian was established in 1952, has more than 500 employees world-wide and more than 8,000 customers. They are a top 20 worldwide material handling systems supplier.
