Holladay Properties has welcomed the first tenant into The BowTruss Building, a redevelopment project that began in August of 2012. The facility is located on 2 acres in the historic Germantown area at the North Entry to downtown Nashville and has been transformed from a vacant warehouse into modern, high-tech office space.

The new tenant, Stratasan, who provides advanced analytics to hospitals, surgery centers, pharmaceuticals, health plans, physician offices, and communities, has occupied 4,500 SF of the 40,000 SF facility located at 1009 3rd Avenue North. Work on the renovation began in December, 2012 and Stratasan moved into their new space in February.

The renovation of The BowTruss Building is not the first redevelopment the Nashville team has taken on in recent years. The group has successfully completed redevelopments of the Sawtooth Building, now home to Griffin Technologies, and the former Collins & Aikman Corp. manufacturing plant at 660 Massman Drive, which now provides high quality warehouse and office space to a mix of tenants.

“It’s been exciting to be a part of the transformation of the The BowTruss Building,” Allen Arender, Holladay Properties’ Vice President-Development, said. “Exposed wood ceiling and expansive steel trusses make this one of Nashville’s unique office spaces and provides industrial chic character for creative space office users.”

DAAD, who worked with the Nashville team on the Sawtooth Building, was hired as the architect and designer for the facility while Holladay Construction Group, LLC served as the General Contractor.
