Holladay’s newest hotel project, the 99 room Hampton Inn and Suites at Heritage Square is now open at 7347 Heritage Square Drive.

“With the University of Notre Dame, Holy Cross and St. Mary’s College all a short drive away, we’re excited to become the home away from home for travelers visiting the area,” said Kelly Tefft, general manager. “With amenities like our signature Hampton bedding, we’re positioned to become the destination of choice for business and leisure travelers in the area.”

The new hotel is managed by Gateway Hospitality Group and jointly owned by Gateway Hospitality Group and Holladay Properties. It is the 51st Hampton hotel in the state of Indiana and Holladay’s second Hilton development. The hotel features Hampton’s Perfect Mix Lobby, a two-story lobby designed as an extension of the guestroom with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers and offers amenities including a business center, a pool and fitness room, outdoor patio, meeting room for 50 and a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry Market.

In addition, the hotel offers a range of guestrooms including suites, which feature additional space and a comfortable sleeper sofa. All guest rooms are equipped with complimentary high speed internet, Serta Dreams bed, an HDTV, coffee maker, mini fridge and free in-room movie channel.

“Hampton Hotels is one of the leading hotel brands in America,” said John T. Phair, president and CEO of Holladay Properties. “Marry their quality with a location that is convenient and within walking distance to a half-dozen restaurants, the best Martin’s store in the region and high-end shopping; this is a winning combination.”

A Grand Opening celebration was held for the Hampton on Thursday, September 25, 2014. The event was catered by Bistro 933 and featured a flag raising by the U.S. Marine Corps., as well as a musical performance by Suzuki Music School of Granger. To thank the fine musicians for the entertainment, the Hampton made a $500 donation to the school, which offers a complete music program for cello, piano, viola and violin for children between three and eighteen years of age.
