(Nashville, TN) – On Saturday, September 23, Hands on Nashville held their largest event of the year, HON Day, and Holladay assembled more than 15 volunteers to participate. The Holladay team was assigned to spruce up Margaret Allen Middle School. Tasks included painting the gym and hallways, washing the cafeteria tables and chairs, and planting trees and flowers. For 26 years, HON Day has mobilized countless volunteers to build stronger communities through service. The Day brings volunteers together to support one of the city’s most important resources: Metro Nashville Public Schools. Since 2012, when the partnership between HON and MNPS began, more than 20,000 volunteers have made an economic impact of more than $1.5 million for schools in our community.
