HOLLADAY PROPERTIES’ DIVERSEY BUILDING OFFERS FLEXIBLE SPACE, SECURES SPANISH MANUFACTURER FAGOR ARRASATE AS FIRST TENANT

Holladay Properties and Holladay Construction Group are moving quickly through the construction of one of their newest projects, the Diversey building. Located in Portage’s AmeriPlex at the Port business park, the Diversey is set to offer 52,900 square feet of flexible commercial/industrial space.

The Diversey already has its first tenant, Fagor Arrasate, a Spanish manufacturing company that provides metal forming equipment such as presses, cutters, and processing lines. Their operation will occupy one of the building’s six suites and includes a workshop and office space.

“I think their employee count is set to be about 25,” said Mike O’Connor, Vice President of Development & Leasing for Holladay Properties. “These are high skill jobs in engineering and technical fields. It’s a good company, looking for a location that will let them serve Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois very easily.”

Overall, O’Connor expects the Diversey building will bring around 100-120 jobs to Portage. The exact number will vary depending on what businesses decide to move in, and the flexibility of the space means that it offers something for almost any industry. Continue reading…
