(Mishawaka, Ind.) – Holladay Properties has been awarded the contract for property management services of the area’s newest health care facility – the St. Joseph County Veteran Affairs Clinic (SJCVAC). On September 18, the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs opened the doors to the 86,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and the official ribbon cutting was held on September 29.

Discussions regarding the management of the facility began in early 2017, and by May, representatives of Holladay were attending regular construction meetings in preparation for the fall opening.

“It’s been a humbling experience to say the least,” Elliot Lusk, Property Manager for Holladay Properties, said. “Northern Indiana has long awaited a facility of this magnitude for local veterans and it’s finally come to fruition; the fact that Holladay has the opportunity to be a part of it is a real privilege.”

The addition of the SJCVAC brings Holladay’s medical office building management portfolio to over 300,000 square feet in the South Bend area. Holladay is one of the country’s largest medical office management firms and is responsible for over 10 million square feet of space.
