For a third year, Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which provides new clothing and/or toys for children of needy families, was promoted by Holladay Properties. The joy of having gifts to open on Christmas was made possible for 49 children because of the generosity of the team members in Nashville, TN. On Halloween, the Elm Hill Pike (Nashville, TN) office held a Chili, Soup and Stew Cook-off and Dessert Cook-off where a fee was charged to those wanting to taste and vote; the proceeds from that event sponsored 8 angels. Then, employees individually sponsored an additional 41 angels. Sponsors selected angel tags from a tree in the office, purchased appropriate gifts for the children, and delivered the unwrapped gifts on December 3. The gifts were then delivered to the Salvation Army to be distributed in time for Christmas.
